We're looking for a dependable Production Machine Operator who can operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, complete quality checks, support packaging activities, and help keep the production line moving. What You'll Do
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery according to production schedules, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
- Load materials and packaging components into equipment and adjust machine settings as needed
- Monitor equipment performance and make minor adjustments to maintain safety, quality, and efficiency
- Perform routine quality checks to confirm products meet established specifications
- Inspect finished products for defects, accuracy, and proper packaging
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing finished products for the next stage of production
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and promptly report larger concerns to the appropriate supervisor or Maintenance team
- Perform routine cleaning and basic equipment maintenance
- Complete required production records accurately and report material, equipment, or quality concerns
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures, quality requirements, and personal protective equipment guidelines
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other team members to meet daily production goals
- Participate in required training, team meetings, and continuous-improvement activities
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years industrial machine operation experience required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn production equipment
- Ability to follow written instructions, specifications, SOPs, and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Basic math, measuring, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify equipment or production concerns and communicate them promptly
- Dependable attendance and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet production expectations
Working Conditions
- Full-time, onsite position in Martinsburg, West Virginia
- Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with overtime as needed
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to industrial equipment and varying temperatures
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive movement
- Ability to climb and lift or handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds, including lifting above shoulder level
- Required use of personal protective equipment
Compensation
- $24.00+/hr, depending on experience
